Payment Policy

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • Electronic bank transfer (e-Transfer)
  • Gift certificates issued by Horizon Peak Active Wellness

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes.

2. Payment Terms

All packages and programs must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. For specialty programs and premium packages, a deposit may be required to secure your spot.

Receipts are provided via email for all transactions. Please retain your receipt for your records.

3. Session Cancellations

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our members and our trainers:

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before a scheduled session will not be charged.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged as an attended session.
  • No-shows without prior notice will be charged as an attended session.
  • Emergencies and sudden illness are handled with discretion — please contact us as soon as possible.

4. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your investment in your health. Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Full refunds are available for unused packages within 14 days of purchase.
  • After 14 days, unused sessions may be refunded on a prorated basis less a 10% administrative fee.
  • Partially used packages are not eligible for refund, but unused sessions may be transferred to a family member with written approval.
  • Initial assessments and consultations are non-refundable once completed.
  • Gift certificates are non-refundable but may be transferred.

5. Expiration of Sessions

All prepaid sessions must be used within 12 months of purchase unless a specific expiration date is noted at the time of sale. Expired sessions are forfeited without refund, though we may grant extensions in exceptional circumstances upon written request.

6. Schedule Changes & Closures

In the rare event that we need to cancel a session due to trainer illness, inclement weather, or facility maintenance, we will offer you the choice of rescheduling at no additional charge or receiving a credit for future use.

7. Dispute Resolution

If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 30 days of the transaction. We will review your concern and respond within 10 business days. Most disputes can be resolved quickly and amicably through direct communication.
